Yeah it’s kind of expensive, and I was a little worried that it wasn’t going to be that good , but this turned out to be a REALLY fun way to play “tourist in our own city”. The tour itself is kind of flexible, so you can go at your own pace.
The guided GPS has really good timing with speaking at the right moments, it’s easy to hear, and it didn’t take us through a bunch of busy streets so that we were able to maximize our time. And this was on a Saturday afternoon. I learned a few facts that I didn’t know and we even stopped for ice cream. We could have stopped for lunch if we wanted to.
Finally, the Vanderhall car was extremely enjoyable to drive. It’s not slow at all; I was absolutely thrilled when I heard that familiar “vrrrm TSSSHHH” sound as I accelerated. Zipping around the coast in that thing on such a beautiful day turned out to be well worth it.
