Scenic Railroad Journey Through Royal Gorge

This experience was at the top of my bucket list. For my birthday I had the opportunity to experience, riding, operating, getting some of the most awesome pictures and videos of nature. I got a chance to view the royal gorge bridge "which is the highest suspension bridge in America" from the bottom of the canyon. Being the car with the train operator was 1 of the most smoothest and exciting moments. The operator was very knowledgeable about the event and the surrounding areas. The whole experience may have took almost an hour or two but it felt like a whole day. I got a chance to get awesome views from the prospective of the train operator while driving thru the canyon, while seeing things like the beautiful mountains, wildlife, rafters rafting in the beautiful Arkansas river. Is is truly an experience I'll cherish and never forget.

Incredible train ride along the Arkansas River. The train itself was really nice. The seats were comfortable. I spent my time outside on the observation car. It's incredible. The views were great. Got to see several groups rafting which was neat. Lot of history along the way. The entire staff was really nice and friendly.

It's a great experience, but no tour guide commentating or directions once the train stopped, which was irritating and had people confused. We didn't eat anything but the Cinnamon roll, which was okay. Our server was okay. The best part was being able to go to the open car and ride along from outside and enjoy nature. I do not feel like it is worth the money, so I would buy the cheapest tickets, eat before you go, and head out to the open car for the ride.

My wife and I went here for our date. This train is awesome. Lots and lots of scenic tracks and excellent dining options inside. The train was on time. Totally worth the money. Taking 2 stars off as one of the staff members (old skinny gentleman with braid) was a bit rude. I thought it might be because he is old but eventually I realized he was only hostile towards us. Other staff memebers were very welcoming though. Other than that, everything else was good.

Nice train ride. Don't buy your meal ticket in advance. You may lose money based on what you order. Service staff is excellent. Carla and the check-in tram could use some customer service training and be a bit more welcoming. Once you get past that, everything is good.
